Director of Publisher Partnerships

Marjorie is responsible for coordination between SMARTHINKING and the publishers that provide SMARTHINKING tutoring with textbooks and online course materials. She also serves as an Implementation Specialist, working with campuses as they launch SMARTHINKING programs.

For the past twelve years, Marjorie has helped schools integrate technology into instruction, including her work as a Curriculum and Implementation Consultant at Academic Systems and as Director of Post-Secondary Professional Services at Plato Learning. She taught for twenty-three years at the college and university level (Brigham Young University, Salt Lake Community College, University of Utah) and administered the Goals 2000 federal program at the Utah State Office of Education. She has been an independent consultant, working with school districts, state government agencies, banks, software companies, and medical organizations. She is also certified at the K-12 level.

Marjorie earned a B.A. in Psychology at the University of Washington, a M.Ed. in Educational Psychology at Brigham Young University, and a Ph.D. in Business at the University of Utah.
