Karis Li, Software Developer

Karis is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the SMARTHINKING technology platform.

Before joining SMARTHINKING, Karis worked as a Quality Assurance Manager at the Council for Professional Recognition, a nonprofit organization located in Washington, DC promoting improved performance and recognition of professionals in early childhood care and education.

Prior to that, Karis studied at George Mason University, where she completed PhD course work in Information Technology and worked as an instructor for a laboratory IT course for freshman students.

Karis holds a MS degree in computer science from Bowie State University.
